The aim and objectives for which the society is established are as under:
To create a sense of bonhomie and harmony amongst the people of India in general and Manipur in particular;
To promote National integration and protect socio-cultural heritage of all caste and communities of India in general and Manipur in particular;
To act as a catalyst in bringing unity and peace of Diasporas, temporary and permanent, from the state of Manipur;
To find and suggest solutions of difficulties faced by the Diasporas from the state of Manipur;
To assist members in getting essential civic amenities and their legal rights;
To hold and to participate in Meetings / Seminars /Workshops/Conferences with a view to exchange ideas and also keep everyone abreast with the latest happenings; To contribute to the social, cultural, medical, financial, sports and educational betterment of the Manipuris in general and the members of the Society in particular;
To coordinate and collaborate with any other society having similar objectives;
To collaborate and organize programs for mutual, physical and social development for welfare of the people, women and children of Manipur residing in Pune;
To publish News Letters, periodicals highlighting the activities of the society from time to time
To apply for and raise funds, subscriptions, grants and loans, donations, in consistence with the objectives and activities of the society, subject to the law of the Land;
All the income of the society shall be utilized towards the promotion of the aim and object for the society and no profit thereof shall be paid or transferred directly or indirectly by way of dividends bonus profits or in any manner whatsoever to the present or past members of the society or to any person claiming through any or more of the present or past members. No member of the society shall have any personal claim on any movable or immovable properties of the society or make any profit whatsoever by virtue of his membership;
To strive to root out social evils like dowry system; to caution the masses against the use of Drugs to prevent spread of dreaded diseases like AIDS as well as to counter terrorism;
To perform all such acts as may be necessary for the achievement and accomplishment of the above mentioned aims and objectives
To settle the disputes, if any through amicable solutions or mediations among the members;
To pursue with various agencies, authorities, local authorities including Central Government, State Governments regarding the matters relating to the betterment of the Society;
